Warriors, Inc. and its Cadre

  Deanna Kulacz

A small-town girl, Dee comes from a long, proud Navy tradition which she threw to the curb when she enlisted in the Army right out of high school (sorry, Mom and Dad).

While she did not inherit the family drive to 'Go Navy!,' she also learned in boot camp that she had not inherited her mother's skill with the Ithaca Featherweight when she scored higher on the grenade range than the rifle range, proving that she could throw a bullet more accurately than she could shoot one.

In civilian life, Dee channels her need to break things into the martial arts. She holds ranks in several styles including a midnight blue belt (black belt candidate) in Tang Soo Do, and a black belt in Seido Karate. On Saturday mornings she can be found either assisting in the children's class or trying to survive rounds with the black belts in sparring class.

While Dee is annoyingly liberal and dangerously close to being a left-wing nut job, she nonetheless manages to keep her opinions in check and get the job done. Be it painting chairs, drawing storyboards, or building arrows and quivers for a 10th century Scotsman with only hot glue, shoe scraps, and paper towel rolls, she manages to always make it happen.
