2/24/2010 New Guadalcanal eBook Available through Warriors Publishing Group Warriors Publishing Group announces the first in a series of eBooks entitled ‘History behind the Story.’ In this series, we are providing historical documentation about the campaigns dramatized in Warriors’ dramas. Our first eBook is ‘The Turning Point: Guadalcanal’ which includes a new foreward by our own Capt. Dye, USMC (Ret.) What’s different about the Guadalcanal Campaign of World War II – and what makes it such a quintessential Marine story – is the way it was fought from the surprisingly unopposed landings on 7 August 1942 to the relief of the exhausted 1st Marine Division in December of that year. Guadalcanal was a dollar job done on a dime budget.

12/22/2009 Captain Dye channels General Patton Capt. Dye was proud to participate in the seventh annual Sky Ball on Saturday, Oct. 24, 1009 at American's Alliance Airport (AFW) maintenance base. All proceeds from Sky Ball directly benefit the families of reservists and members of the National Guard stationed at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. Last year's event raised more than $500,000 for families of deployed troops. Click on the link to see his performance as General Patton!
